Driver and Passenger Airbag System
Protection for everyone in the car
To keep you and your passengers safe in the event of a collision, the Attrage is equipped with a 7-airbag system. The front seat occupants are protected by front airbags, plus an additional knee airbag for the driver. In a side collision, the front and rear occupants are protected by side airbags and curtain airbags extending along the sides.

Safer front seat belts
Pretensioners on the front seatbelts automatically tighten in the event of a frontal collision to help keep the driver and front passenger even safer and reduce the force of impact when the front airbags are deployed.
Active Stability Control (ASC)
If you have a wobble, the car won’t
If wheels lose their grip on slippery surfaces or while turning, the ASC system automatically adjusts the engine output and applies a braking force at the appropriate wheels to help maintain control and prevent skidding. The Traction Control function applies a braking force to the spinning wheels for smooth starts and straight line acceleration.
Hill Start Assist (HSA)
No rolling backwards on hills
If you're starting off on a steep uphill slope, Hill Start Assist helps to prevent you from rolling backward by maintaining the brake for up to two seconds until the accelerator is applied.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
Tyres at the correct pressure
Sensors and transmitters in the wheels monitor the tyre pressure. If one or more tyres becomes significantly under-inflated, a warning light flashes on the instrument panel.
Power window
A safer driver's window
The driver’s side window can be raised or lowered with just a single touch and it also features an anti-trap mechanism for safety.
LED High-Mount Stop Lamp
Let the car behind know you're braking
A bright LED stop light has been mounted in the rear window. This provides a further safety measure because the drivers behind you will see the higher mounted light more easily.
Immobiliser
Extra protection against theft
The engine can only be started when a dedicated key with matching authentication code is used. This advanced security system effectively prevents vehicle theft.
Starter Interlock
No lurching forward in gear
To prevent you starting the engine with the car in gear and the vehicle suddenly lurching forward, the Starter Interlock requires you to fully depress the clutch pedal before the engine will start.
4ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution
A brake system for the brake system
The four-wheel anti-lock brake system helps prevent the wheels from locking up during emergency braking so you can maintain greater steering control, even on slippery roads. The Attrage also has Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). This automatically adjusts the braking based on the car’s speed and load weight to ensure you can stop quickly and safely.
